Eidos and SCi have announced that Tomb Raider: Legend will be in playable form at the Games Convention 2005 in Leipzig, Germany
(17-21 August 2005).

"We are very proud to offer the German Games Convention as the venue for Tomb Raider Legend's public world premiere," said Lars Winkler, Director of Product Marketing, Eidos Interactive. "Even at the world's largest videogame show in Los Angeles, the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the game was only shown to a specific few behind closed doors. At the Games Convention, not only will gameplay be shown to the public, but the producers will be there to answer questions as well."

Although it's currently unknown how much of the new Tomb Raider game attendees of the event will get to explore, it will no doubt draw a lot of Tomb Raider fans.

The Games Convention 2005 in Leipzig runs from August 17th through to August 21st.
